We hope you have all stayed safe and well.
Following the recent news from the government that shops can begin opening up from the 15th June 2020, we have been working behind the scenes putting plans in place ready.
With all of this in mind, we can now update you to what we will be doing.
To begin with, we shall be opening up the shop doors but on limited days and times. This will allow us to monitor the lockdown situation. It will also give us a chance to ensure we are running the business in a safe environment for people to visit.
Our opening times
Our opening date will be on Tuesday 16th June 2020. We will open up, to begin with on Tuesdays – Fridays from 10 am – 2 pm. We shall continue to offer for anyone who is still shielding or not yet comfortable to go out, online ordering through either Facebook or email. This will also give us a chance to get those orders processed to customers promptly.
We shall be following government guidelines with cleaning, screens and limiting the number of people in the shop at any one time. We are going to make some internal adjustments to the shop floor. This will allow us to provide a safe one-way system. We request that payments are ideally made by contactless card. However we will take cash but as contactless limits have been increased to £45, it will allow people to safely pay for items without the need for handling cards, cash etc.
Unfortunately with still such a huge uncertainty, we won’t be able to offer any in-house classes. It is still very unknown to how soon in the future we will be able to begin getting back to full normality. We will ensure we update everyone along the way.
Updates on any further information will be updated to you along the way. We hope this will be a good starting point for us to see some of our wonderful customers back through our shop doors helping them continue with their creativity.
We look forward to welcoming you all back to the shop.
Clare, Laura and Sue.
